As I'm sure you all know by now...Kim Kardashian is ENGAGED! I must say...I love those girls and all their reality shows. I'm such a reality TV junkie and I'm not afraid to admit it.....

Rain...again?!

Who woulda thunk it?????? We now have rain in our forecast for the next 7 days! If April showers bring May flowers..we are going to have a shit ton of flowers :)

On another note...I have been lacking...badly...in the exercise department and that is CHANGING today! It is amaazing what a TV can do for you while you are working out :)

SERIOUSLY!!!!!!!!!!!! I have only seen the sun a handful of times in well over a WEEK!!!!!!!!!!!! So depressing....

I'm in love with Judas

Lady Gaga's latest single from her upcoming Album Born This Way, Judas, was released over the weekend...and it did not disappoint...well, me at least. I read on huffingtonpost.com that the lyrics angered some Religious groups that didn't even hear the lyrics before issuing a complaint...what are you gonna do? She can't please everyone, but she can now add another hit single to her belt.

Some of you may already know that I love Gaga. I have seen her twice in concert and and she puts on a seriously fantastic show. She speaks and dresses freely and doesn't give a f*ck what critics have to say about it.

Props to Lady Gaga, you have done it again my friend. Listen for yourself and interpret it however you wish...

Back to reality...

Well I have officially been home for over a week now and am determined to keep up with this blog. I sometimes wonder what I have gotten myself into...don't get me wrong, I absolutely LOVE blogging...especially over at Eccentric Kitchen. I also LOVE reading other blogs about life, fashion, beauty products, travel, etc...and that is precisely why I started this one...I just feel like I have yet to really make an impression, even to myself.

So I ask you to please bear with me...I will have something interesting to say at some point!

And counting until I am Australia bound! I can't believe that it is almost here!!!

Tomorrow evening I am heading to Chicago to spend the night at a hotel by O'hare. Think about it...the room is around $130 and that includes 14 days of FREE parking...granted I will be paying the $10 additional per day for the 4 extra days Tito will be parked there but hey it still beats paying $16 per day at O'hare by a long shot. The hubby and I have stayed at this particular hotel before and it is nice, new and has a shuttle that runs every 15-30 minutes.

I started packing over the weekend...well not really packing but laying out clothes that I want to take...I will prob only come to the office in the AM tomorrow and then go home and put it all together...I can't decide between two different duffel bags, so Matt layed them both out for me...and Chloe didn't like it very much..

Anytime we get a suitcase out or any sign of laying clothes out...she does not like it!

I picked these tops and the fab necklace up at Kohl's last week. I love the LC Lauren Conrad line. The necklace is Dana Buchman and was on clearance for $7!!!

I am meeting my Mom in LA and we have an ridiculously long layover...I have hired a town car to give us a quick tour of the city...I'm thinking we will hit up Rodeo Drive, Hollywood Blvd and maybe Venice Beach...what do you guys think? We have about 5 hours to kill...I am open to ANY and ALL suggestions!!!

I could also use some good restaurant recommendations for lunch!

I am in LOVE with the new Tommy Bahama catalog!!! Seriously....LOVE! I just adore the nautical striped style!

I apologize for my lack of posting...I know I am just starting this particular blog and it has been a bit of a crazy week. Between trying to get everything organized at the office before my trip, cleaning house, COOKING, etc...I just haven't had a chance to focus. But I assure you, I am ready to rock!

Anyways, I have exactly 17 days until Australia!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I have already started making mental notes of what to pack...and done some pre trip shopping...but not too much because I am certain I will be doing some shopping on my trip.
