1 day 18 hours 32 minutes...

And counting until I am Australia bound! I can't believe that it is almost here!!!

Tomorrow evening I am heading to Chicago to spend the night at a hotel by O'hare. Think about it...the room is around $130 and that includes 14 days of FREE parking...granted I will be paying the $10 additional per day for the 4 extra days Tito will be parked there but hey it still beats paying $16 per day at O'hare by a long shot. The hubby and I have stayed at this particular hotel before and it is nice, new and has a shuttle that runs every 15-30 minutes.

I started packing over the weekend...well not really packing but laying out clothes that I want to take...I will prob only come to the office in the AM tomorrow and then go home and put it all together...I can't decide between two different duffel bags, so Matt layed them both out for me...and Chloe didn't like it very much..

Anytime we get a suitcase out or any sign of laying clothes out...she does not like it!

I picked these tops and the fab necklace up at Kohl's last week. I love the LC Lauren Conrad line. The necklace is Dana Buchman and was on clearance for $7!!!

I am meeting my Mom in LA and we have an ridiculously long layover...I have hired a town car to give us a quick tour of the city...I'm thinking we will hit up Rodeo Drive, Hollywood Blvd and maybe Venice Beach...what do you guys think? We have about 5 hours to kill...I am open to ANY and ALL suggestions!!!

I could also use some good restaurant recommendations for lunch!

I apologize for my lack of posting...I know I am just starting this particular blog and it has been a bit of a crazy week. Between trying to get everything organized at the office before my trip, cleaning house, COOKING, etc...I just haven't had a chance to focus. But I assure you, I am ready to rock!

Anyways, I have exactly 17 days until Australia!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I have already started making mental notes of what to pack...and done some pre trip shopping...but not too much because I am certain I will be doing some shopping on my trip.

Time to get back to work...
